The Academic Board of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University has convened its regular meeting with its President, Vice-Presidents, deans, directors of its research institutes and structural subdivisions and student self-government representatives participating.

During the meeting, the members of the Academic Board approved the decision to award the highest scientific decoration of Karazin University — the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University to the leading contemporary scientists, namely the Deputy Director for Research of the Institute of Sociology of the NASU, Doctor of Philosophy, Yevhen Holovakha, the Full Professor of the University of Naples Federico II, Massimo Capaccioli, the Academician of the NASU, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Leonid Pastur.
