Karazin University Academic Board has held its meeting with the participation of its President, Vice-Presidents, deans, directors of subdivisions, and student self-government representatives.

The Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, Olha Anoshchenko, acquainted those present with the changes to V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University Admission Rules 2017, “The changes to the Admission Terms 2017 were published on May 29, 2017. They require the appropriate changes to the University Admission Rules. However, the number of significant changes is no significant.”

During the meeting, the Academic Board approved the decision to award the title of Doctor Honoris Causa of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University to the Deputy Director for Research of the Institute of Sociology of the NASU, Doctor of Philosophy, Yevhen Holovakha, the Full Professor of the University of Naples Federico II, Massimo Capaccioli, the Academician of the NASU, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Leonid Pastur.

The members of the Academic Board supported the proposition as to approving the Academic Secretary of the Research Unit, Anton Panteleimonov, for the position of the Vice-President for Research and Academics.

Within the framework of the meeting, the Full Professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases of the School of Medicine, Oleksii Tsivenko, was awarded a diploma from Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
