The Academic Board of V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University has held its regular meeting with the participation of the President, Vice-Presidents, deans, directors of its research institutes and subdivisions, and student self-government representatives.

During the event, Karazin University was awarded the certificate of compliance with ISO 9001: 2015 “Quality Management System” from TÜV Rheinland Cert GmbH.

The Vice-President Anton Panteleimonov acquainted those present with the results of academic integrity assurance at the University.

“Now the University’s website has a section on academic integrity that contains information on the Academic Integrity Assurance Project (Karazin University is its partner), the University administration’s PhD and doctoral theses, and documents and analytical materials for students and schoolers. The University has also implemented an anti-plagiarism Internet system used to check students’ qualification works for plagiarisms. Several schools provide courses on fundamentals of academic writing,” said Anton Panteleimonov.

Mr. Panteleimonov also outlined the results of students’ qualification works verification during the summer exams.
