Karazin University has held a meeting of the University Academic Board. It focused on the University's preparedness to work in winter, the state of the energy efficiency program implementation, and the realization of the Law of Ukraine On Higher Education in terms of the University's web resources. The Board elected several department heads, awarded academic titles to several faculty members of the University, and approved the named scholarships to the University students, etc.

University Vice-President Anatolii Udod reported on the works carried out to prepare the University academic buildings and dormitories for the upcoming winter, particularly in terms of insulation of buildings, repairs of the boiler rooms and heating lines.

The Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Software of the School of Computer Sciences, Volodymyr Kuklin, reported on the energy efficiency program implementation at the University. In particular, he stressed that it was important that the representatives of each University subdivision ensure rational use of resources.

The Director of the Center for Web Communications, Maksym Folomieiev, pointed out that the University's web resources are represented as an important tool in information and communication support of the academic, scientific and educational processes as well as in ensuring openness and transperancy of the University's activities, “In my opinion, the conceptual idea of the new Law of Ukraine On Higher Education is autonomy in exchange for information disclosure. Unlike its previous revision, the document mentions web resources in seven articles."
