What falls within the competence of temporary committees?

Temporary committees are involved in preparing decisions that fall beyond the competence of the standing committees of the Academic Board or require taking special/prompt measures. Temporary committees are created on the initiative of the Academic Board of the University.

A temporary committee performs its functions by discussing the matters in question and making the relevant decisions. The temporary committee’s decisions are made by open majority vote of the members present at the meeting. Should there be a tie in the vote, it shall be broken by the vote of the member presiding at the meeting.

On expiry of the term of the temporary committee, its chairman shall present the decision at the meeting of the Academic Board.
